In a good sized device it is the way to go. All books. Simple. On your device. Better yet, searchable.
I think a model to support this, though, is an NGO or non-for-profit foundation. It is just too tempting to make any amount of money from the service. And, of course, it is the last mail in the coffin of publishing industry.
The next thing is — long lasting batteries. Invest in those companies. NOW! With every percent of growth of battery life, will grow your share in the company. (Almost.)
