This is my very first post.
I would like to take this opportunity to outline how I currntly see this blog-site developing and why it is here.
Being in technology for quite some time, I have gathered a good collection of links, RSS feeds, pdf files, etc. I thought that if I don’t make it available for people, it would be a wasted effort. So this is my first motivation – logging.
Another motivation comes from the fact that there is no aggregation service which would collect all mobile news. Therefore, it order to have a good understanding of the trends in mobile technology, it is important to collect all the news in some aggregation form like Google Reader or iGoogle. It would be good to have some sort of blog going with the latest trends but which is selective.Thus the second motivation is aggregation.
I understand that the selective part may cause some people trouble. But many would agree that those who are in mobile technology are more interested in mobile marketing, for example, than in the latest mobile phone model’s functions. The third motivation is my biased selectivity.
I also understand that it will be clear from the future, what comes out of it. It has had hard time starting for some reason (partly becasue there were many other things to do). But now it will be getting my undivided attention!
